Galerie Paul Prouté

Nicolas Poignon studied at the École Supérieure d’Arts Graphiques in Paris from 1982 to 1984, before enrolling at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Visuels in Brussels. An illustrator, painter, and printmaker (primarily working on linoleum), he is particularly interested in landscapes, which he depicts as desolate and seemingly inaccessible. Nicolas Poignon has exhibited in numerous galleries in France and abroad and has received many awards.
