Galerie Paul Prouté

Henri Pfeiffer was a German-born, naturalized French abstract painter. Trained at the Bauhaus, he studied under Paul Klee and Wassily Kandinsky. His work is characterized by colorful, geometric abstraction. Fascinated by the perception of color, he published L’Harmonie des couleurs in 1956, a book in which he compiled his research and reflections.
