Théodore BROUTELLES

Théodore de Broutelles was a pupil of Jules Noël. Essentially a painter of seascapes, he found the coasts of his native Normandy an ideal place to indulge his passion for the sea. He made his debut at the 1879 Salon and exhibited for many years, with some of his works now in the museums of Dieppe and Rouen.
