We do not known a lot about Charles-Jean Bisschops, a Belgian painter, draughtsman and engraver. A student of Jean Delville and Constant Montald at the Brussels Academy, he exhibited at a number of Salons in Belgium and France. During the 1920s, the artist travelled extensively, visiting Italy, Spain, Algeria and France.
