Gaston BÉTHUNE

Gaston Béthune was a French artist who studied under Jules-Achille Noël, then under Léon Bonnat and Eugène Giraud at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He made his debut at the Salon in 1876 and distinguished himself with his luminist landscapes in oil and watercolor, as well as his portraits, which were sometimes tinged with caricature.
