Yaacov AGAM

Israeli artist, Yaacov Agam is a major figure of the kinetic art. In the 1970s, he created the Agam Salon, a polymorphic installation located in the apartments of the Pompidou couple at the Elysée Palace. Agam’s work evolves over time and the movements of the viewer, a movement he describes as a « fourth dimension ». The artist participated in numerous exhibitions, including the first exhibition devoted to kinetic art in France, « Light and Movement », held at the Musée d’Art moderne de Paris in 1967. He expresses himself in painting, print but also in sculpture and architecture, his work is visible in several cities including Cleveland, Tel Aviv, or at the Defense in Paris.
