Fine impressions, a first state with the portrait of Cardinal Mazarin on the left, the central figure brandishing a lictor beam and the putti holding the cardinal’s hat and Mazarin’s motto in the air, a second state on which the portrait on the left is hidden, the beam is replaced by a club and Mazarin’s attributes have disappeared, very slight vertical crease on the first state, more visible on the verso of the second, tiny scattered pinholes on the second state, traces of glue on the verso of both plates.
