Galerie Paul Prouté

Belgian painter and poster artist Henri Privat is a master of sgraffito and illustrated posters. After studying at the Académie Saint-Josse, he moved to Paris, where his work included decorating the Hôtel de Ville. Returning to Belgium a few years later, he established himself as a decorative painter while embarking on a teaching career. His style quickly moved towards Art Nouveau.
