Angeniol trained in the studios of Gustave Moreau and Fernand Cormon. In the early 20th century, he regularly exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français and the Salon de la Société Lyonnaise des Beaux-Arts, where he mainly exhibited portraits and landscapes.
