Félix RÉGAMEY
Born into a family of artists, Félix Régamey showed an early talent for drawing. In 1876, at the Universal Exhibition in Philadelphia, he met the businessman Emile Guimet. The two of them embarked on a long journey through Asia, during which Régamey produced a number of sketches. His almost ethnographic works were shown at the 1878 Universal Exhibition.
